Children's Classes
Our Children’s Sunday School Classes follow the Workshop Rotation Model.
This means that one Sunday the children will learn a Bible lesson through drama and storytelling, the next Sunday they learn the same lesson through games, the next Sunday they learn it through art and cooking, and on the fourth Sunday all the classes combine to watch a movie that relates to the Bible lesson.
Our Children’s Classes are divided into three groups:
Pre-K - Kindergarten
Grades 1 - 3
Grades 4 - 6
Each Sunday there is a chart in the atrium showing where each class will meet that day. There are also guides and teachers to take children to the rooms. We began this model in the fall of 2007 and the children love it. It provides a more interactive and multi-sensory way of learning the Bible stories. For more information email our Sunday School director Jody Malsch jmalsch@canfieldmethodist.org or our Associate Pastor jswilliamson@canfieldmethodist.org.
