Today is Camp Sunday. We will be promoting camping for boys and girls through our Conference camping program. We have in our East Ohio Area three wonderful locations—Camp Asbury, Camp Wanake, and Camp Aldersgate. Our church makes available camperships for boys and girls to take advantage of these life-changing opportunities.
Rev. Smith is an ordained elder of East Ohio Conference. He currently serves as the Director of Religious Life & Church Relations of Lakeside, Ohio. Lakeside is familiar to most of us, as the site of our Annual Conference each June. Lakeside is among the first Chautauqua communities founded in the United States, in 1873, along the shores of Lake Erie on Marblehead peninsula. It has been a center for religion, education, cultural arts, recreation and relaxation for more than 135 years.
Rev. Smith will be bringing the morning message, continuing our Lenten preaching series “Following the Signs”. He will also be available to answer questions about Lakeside as a destination for families who desire a wholesome, energizing place to be renewed this coming summer.

Mission Report from Africa - One of our young adults, Ginny Naples, will be present with us for UMW Sunday, April 11. Ginny is living in the Pittsburgh area and had an experience of a lifetime as she traveled to Africa to help set up a medical clinic to needy people away from urban areas. She comes back excited to share about it and give us a first-hand look at what is happening there! Mark April 11 on your calendar, the Sunday after Easter, and plan to be present for worship on that day.
Help Wanted! Coffee and Donut Fellowship - To all who enjoy coffee and donuts on Sunday mornings: We need you! Please help us to continue this ministry by signing up to occasionally set up and/or tear down the coffee and donut station used during Sunday morning fellowship. Easy-to-follow instructions are posted at the coffee station, and Kristin Dew can answer any questions you may have. A sign up sheet is located in the Atrium. Thank you for your help!
Willing Workers - will meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in 2010 from 9:00-12:00noon. “Thank You” to all who have donated material for Prayer Quilts and Christmas material for ornaments, aprons, decorations and other crafts. Little Disciples - is a group of parents and children who get together once a month on a Wednesday evening to share a meal, a craft, some playtime, and fellowship. We meet in the Atrium at 5:30pm for a potluck meal and conclude at 7:00pm with a brief worship service. We would like to have an Intergenerational Group! If you are a member of our congregation and would like to make a connection with some of our younger families, please call Jody Malsch at the church. We would love for you to join us to share your talents, your stories, and your love of children! Upcoming meeting scheduled: April 7, 2010.
