Missions Corner - Missions and UMW will be collecting canned applesauce, beef stew, greens, peanut butter and jelly for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley for the months of January and February. These items are needed to put into food baskets that are given out weekly. They distribute 20-30 baskets per week.
Announcements - Kindly submit announcements by Thursday to the church office so they may be read by the person specified to do the announcements.
Safe Sanctuary Sunday School/Preschool - In order to follow the guidelines of Safe Sanctuary for Sunday School and Preschool - Preschool thru 6th Graders must be brought upstairs to their Sunday School classroom and signed in by a parent/guardian. Teachers will be in their rooms at 9:15 and will begin their lesson promptly at 9:30! Preschool through 3rd Graders will also need to be signed out by a parent/guardian at 10:15 - 4th thru 6th Graders can be dismissed to the atrium without being signed out with parental approval. Thank you for helping us to keep our children safe!
Willing Workers - will be start meeting after the Holidays on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month beginning January 11, 2012 from 9:30-11:30am to make prayer quilts. If you don't sew, we need help washing, measuring, cutting and pressing material. At our November 9th meeting we inserted the yarn to finish 3 prayer quilts. Some of us would like to learn to crochet scrubbies out of net. If you would like to teach us we would appreciate it greatly. Call Jean Stryffeler.
Preschool - Apples for the Students - Our preschool needs your support! Please register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card for our school. Missions Corner - The Mission Committee and UMW will be collecting soup for Protestant Family Services during the month of October.

Membership Care & Evangelism - Need A Ride Program provides transportation for church members who are unable to drive. If you are in need of transportation, call Kay Love. 24-hour notice is appreciated.
Prayer List: If you would like to request prayers for persons who are ill, grieving, etc., please call Ceil Gill. Prayer Request Cards are available in the pews. Let us remember in our thoughts and prayers the members of our congregation and our friends who may be ill, shut-in, or bereaved.
Altar Flowers - New Coordinator - Call Becky Schaub to sponsor altar flowers. Would like to honor a loved one? Celebrate a special occasion? Consider sponsoring altar flowers on Sunday mornings. The cost is $35 for 2 large vases or $30 for the smaller vases.
Church DVD Ministry - The Church DVD Ministry is a free service offered to any and all members who are unable to attend Sunday worship because of short or long-term illness or other possible restrictions. DVD's of every Sunday worship service throughout the year are recorded and copies are available to those who request them. Call Kay Love for this service. DVD's will be delivered for one week or many weeks. Programs of the service can accompany the DVD, and hymnals for hymns are also available.
Note to hearing impaired - This facility uses the DRAKE Audio Accent Assistive Listening System to ensure clear audio to all participants. Personal audio receivers are available for individuals with hearing impairments. If you need assistance, please request an usher to help you.
Ministry Opportunity - There is a need for persons who would be willing to spend a couple of hours on a periodic basis with homebound members. If you have time available during the day, and would be interested in this ministry, please contact the church office.

Pray for Our Military - Pray for persons in the Armed Forces. You can help your church lift up those serving in our Armed Forces. If you have loved ones in the military, we ask you to submit their names to the church office. A picture would be even better. We will collate these and have handouts available for church members to take home.
